Quick Hello from Rwanda
Hi Gang-
Reporting in from Ruhengari Rwanda. Hope everyone is well. Weather has been cool & cloudy here. Have done two Gorilla treks so far. Off to see Golden Monkeys in the a.m. Will check in again soon if I have a chance. Glad rains have hit parts Kenya & Tanzania. Ciao :) |
Thanks for checking in. Which groups did you see?
|
divewop,
I didn't realize you were off so soon. Exciting and wonderful. Please enjoy yourself! |
Hope you, the gorillas, and golden monkeys are all well.
|
Divewop,
Thanks for reporting from Rwanda. I wish you good golden monkey viewing. Safiri salama |
Weird...I posted another note several days ago talking about my treks but I guess it never made it here. Oh well...
Now I'm sitting in Jomo Kenyatta's biz lounge waiting for the ever-so-long trek back to the States. NBO to AMS then on to ATL. Preparing for the long haul. Ugh. Since this was mostly a biz and fact finding trip, I don't know if a trip report is appropriate. But being in the field with the folks from DFGFI (Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International) was quite interesting to say the least. Hope everyone is well. Lots of posts to read and catch up on but I have four hours left so I can do some reading while here. :-) |
trip reports of any kind are good.
|
especially if they involve gorillas!
|
ENVY ENVY ENVY :(( :'(
Those were the closest smileys I could find to represent it. I can't wait for a detailed report and pics. |
Have a safe journey, divewop. I look forward to hearing about your trip!
|
Divewop,
A trip report is always appropriate and a biz and fact finding trip will only make us more green with envy, especially when DFGFI is involved. :& |
Enjoy your trip back and do tell us anything you can about your trip and those gorillas.
