castlevisitor - I agree with sandi about starting your own thread. It will be much easier for you to follow and for people to chime in with answers (without getting caught up in this drama). Also, it would be helpful if you included details of your itinerary, including day to day activities, names of hotels and cruise boats, and modes of transportation (trains, planes, car).
Debbie - that is just too funny!!!!

Yes I do agree it is drama. Well I'm out. I have gotten the information I needed from another forum. Needless to say it was very helpful. I do appreciate all the information I received here. It goes to say we all have our opinions. Its a wonderful thing we have the freedom to express our opinions. Castlevisitor never feel intimidated to ask questions and voice your opinion. This forum is for information and this is where you find good and bad information and you have to make your own decision at the end. If you don't find what you need here there are other forums. Last year I was given very helpful information. This year I did not find what I needed, but that does not mean I won't come back if I'm need other information. Just know that you will find opinionated people anywhere and I include myself in that group with the others.

Just to report back on my tour with EMAD. We ended up with a group of 10 pp. Friends and friends of friends hear about our trip and joined us. We had a wonderful 2 day tour with Emad. Everyone in our group had a marvelous time. We saw so much in those two days; museum, mosque, Coptic Cairo, Memphis, step pyramids, giza pyramids, and the sphinx (hope I did not leave out anything). Also, we were able to do some shopping, one of the ladies in our group wanted to purchase a rug, so we made a stop at the rug school, another wanted a cartouche, another person wanted perfume. It was a whirlwind but we did it and enjoyed every minute of it. Oh, by the way his orginal fee was not on us having 4 or more as inferred by one of the other responders. One last thing Emad made sure we had an orginal Egyptian homecook meals that evening, which was very good. So if anyone else out there has any questions about Emad, I can say, he delivered.

Thanks for the info johnlh. I found Emad's name on here and booked a tour with him when I go to Egypt in May. I contacted several different guides and he was definitely the most reasonable. The places I want to see I could do on my own, but being a single woman traveling alone, I thought it prudent to have someone with me!
