Question on Making the Flight Connection CPT-JNB-VFA

I have booked a package trip to Victoria Falls which will begin with the JNB-VFA flight leaving on a Sunday morning at 11:25am. We will be spending the week before in Capetown and I haven't booked the JNB-CPT round trip flights yet. My question is should we fly CPT on an early morning flight on the same day as the VFA flight or would you recommend spending the night before near JNB to play it safe? Also, any opinions on Kulula airlines?

fly in the morning - you;ll be fine. plenty of flights get in at 9am which gives you over 2 hours to check in.

don't know about kulula but we flew nationwide and it was perfectly OK

We did the first flight from CPT to JNB, then about 2-hrs later on a flight to VFA, arriving about 12N or 12:30pm. Flight schedules do change, so check current.

No need to layover in JNB, when this is a smooth transition. It was just perfect for us.
