That is a pity... you had my hopes up when i read your post, as I didn't think we were overlapping from what Nicky told me.

What is your plan this time? Going to see Dawson at Chitabe?

Would also be interesting to see the spot-pattern identikits for those leopards.

I was wondering why you like to go this time of year.

Less dust/smoke and the presence of summer migrants and calves of the antelopes maybe?

I doubt Grant will remember me but please send regards from the "Pete & Kavita from UK, short Indian lady and very tall caucasian guy, sent him a book on baboons after our visit".
He's a truly fantastic guide, I'm very envious (even as I'm packing for our trip to antarctica!)
