Question about UK outlet adapters & taps

For an upcoming trip to Tanzania, I am taking a UK-style plug adapter to charge camera batteries and Ipod. All devices are 110-220V so, as I understand it, I do not need a convertor.

The plug adapter has just one outlet and I would to be able to charge more than one device at a time. Can I add a USA standard (15A-125V) 3-outlet tap to the plug adapter and then plug my devices into the tap? Or do I need a special tap or power strip to turn the one outlet into three? If so, what are the voltage specifications?

Thanks for your advice.

I use a small travel strip from Voltage Valet:

You can plug in 3 items and it also has a USB port. You just have to make sure that your adapter can take the grounded 3-prong plug on the strip. It's really compact and I always take it with me on safari.
