Public transport in Morocco

Hello,

My girlfriend and I will be traveling through Morocco for 2 weeks this coming September. We will be traveling through Tangier, Mekenes, Volubilis, Fes, Marakesh, Essaouria, and Casablanca.

Could anyone please recommend whether trains or buses will be more reliable/safe/cheap for our travels?

Thanks!

Laura.

Trains are good and relatively cheap but limited destinations - you can use them for Tangier-Fez-Casablanca-Marakkech. The other places can be reached easily by bus. If you want more info on getting around etc, have a look at my website - http://www.i-escape.com/morocco.php - We went several times last year.
