Congratulations on all your good news, PB! I found your site a few days ago (there was a hint about the name on your photos page from a previous trip, so I was waiting for it), and it looks very nice. You're certainly well-equipped to give people good advice about animals, and I like the approach -- focusing on various types of wildlife experiences rather than lodges. You've been giving very good advice on this board for a long time, and have been one of the best story-tellers here, so I look forward to reading more about your future trips... and I'm not worried that you're going to try to "sell" us on anything just to give yourself an advantage. Thanks for your honesty; this is a nice way to handle a sticky issue on this board.

Thanks everyone for your wonderful wishes on the 3 B's as Cybor aptly put it, baby coming, birthday, and business. I appreciate all your positive comments and wishes for success!

let me add my congratulations, Bill!!

And, I am thrilled since I assume your values will add much needed options to possible safaris - namely small, locally owned lodges and camps promoting the local economy while being environmentally sensitive. As soon as we have saved enough money for the next trip, I'll be in touch!

Bill, this is the best thing that could have happened to folks like me. I think you have both attributes that I look for: integrity and competence. Good luck in your venture. You will be hearing a lot from me in the not to distant future. Your website says it all.

Wow, you have much to be optimistic about!

Happy Birthday Bill!

Congratulations Bill, Molly, Ashley, and Leo* on the coming attraction!

Congratulations to all on the new family business! It is always good news to hear of one earning a living doing what they enjoy. Especially great to hear that you will be continuing to focus on and will be trying to support your good works helping humans and wildlife get along together.

When the donation process is ready for the
Africa
Predator Project

with Dr. Lowell Nicolaus, on researching the application of Conditioned Taste Aversion (CTA) to mitigate predation on livestock please let us know as I would be happy to make a wee contribution as I am sure others would as well. Or feel free to notify me by e-mail when it all comes to fruition.

Much luck to you Bill and please keep sharing -- or perhaps make your BLOG interactive...

I've checked out the website, it looks great, too bad I've already booked my trip...

Please, please, keep posting on this forum. In the few months I've been reading it I've found your posts to be the most insightfull and interesting

I feel so envious that you'll be able to work on something you love so passionately, I'm sure you'll do great.

Happy Birthday PB! I join everyone else in congratulating you on your venture and your soon to be new addition to your family.

Your love of Africa and wildlife will definitely be a winning combination for anyone interested in joining your tours.

I hope you will continue to post on this site and if not, as Den suggested, on your own website.

Lynda,
A little birdie told me that PB will still lead trips but on a limited basis due to the cubs.

Congrats Bill, on the site, the birthday and the bub.

We were in Soweto the day before your shared birthday with Nelson Mandela, and that grand man's 90th was a big talking point.

Thanks everyone for your continued good wishes, they are extremely appreciated!

I definitely plan to continue to participate on this board and with much more time spent in Africa I imagine I will have plenty of items of interest to share going forward. For certain I will post as my research progresses so those with a keen interest in predator conservation can keep up.

Congratulations and good luck Bill!

Judging from all the excellent advice you give on Fodors, I am pretty certain you will have a successful business with lots of happy safari-goers.

Your homepage looks great. Lots of good information. Still look forward to your reports on wild dogs and other Mapula information!

regards,
Tom

Congrats Bill, on all of the wonderful things happening in your life right now. May they continue far into your future.

Does this mean you have an "in" to get me introduced to your friend Orion?
