Plug adapter for Tanzania

Hello all

I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out what sort of plug adapter I need so my US plug will fit the Tanzanian outlet. My equipment I will be bringing is all rated up to 240V, so I don't need a converter. But can someone post a picture of exactly what sort of plug adapter I need?

TIA!!

Most outlets take the adapter plug as used in the UK. It's large with 3-flat prongs in a v-shape. You can buy the individual plug, but there were a few places on the mainland and especially on Zanzibar island that took the 2-round prong European plug.

You can buy a kit, about $20, that contains about 6/plugs that fit outlets for most everywhere in the world. The UK plug will be obvious as it's the largest.

You can see both styles Sandi is referring to in this photo:

For Tanzania you will need a Type G, British 3-pin Plug. (230-240V AC)
