1. How many days on your safari ?
2. Which parks in Tanzania do you wish to visit ?
3. What Type of a Safari ? e.g Luxury or Budget Safari
4. Is it a Private Safari or will you be joining a Group Tour.

Hope this will help.

By clicking on your name, keah05, I found this recent post. Sorry you received no response earlier.

To summarize: Warrior Trails. Cost: $4,965. Seeking info on Osupuko.

To properly respond, what month are you looking to travel? I never heard of Osupuko but WT has a good rep, so I would be willing to accept their recommendation.

The Osupuko Serengeti Camp appears to be in Central Serengeti. 4 nts Central Serengeti and 3 nts Western Serengeti (Mbalageti) is a wonderful combination in May through July.

Day 1: Arrive Arusha overnight B/B Mc Elly's B/B ( not sure about this one).

Day 2 Drive to Maasai Boma for a cultural visit with activities, overnight at the Boma F/B.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti game veiwing on the way, game drive with picnic lunch overnight Osupuko Camp F/B.

Day 3: Full day's game drive with picnic lunch, overnight Osupuko Camp F/B.

Day 4: Full days game drive with picnic lunch, overnight Osupuko Camp F/F.

Day 5: Full days game drive with picnic lunch, overnight Osupuko Camp F/B.

Day 6 Today drive with pinic lunch to Mbalageti Camp game viewing on the way, overnight Mbalageti Camp F/B.

Day 7: Full day's game veiwinf with picnic lunch , overnight Mbalageti Camp F/B.

Day 8: Full days game veiwing with picnic lunch, overnight Mbalageti Camp F/B.

Day 9: Morniing game drive with picnic lunch en route to Ngorogoro, overnight Rhino Lodge F/B.

Day 10: Early mornig game drive in crater with picnic lunch, overnight Rhino Lodge F/B.

2 points: What are you doing the afternoon of Day 10? Visiting a village, walking along crater rim, resting at lodge? Find out or offer your own suggestion. You can spend the entire day in the crater for additional $$. I like Sopa Lodge for the less crowded access road.

Day 11: After breakfast drive to Tarragire for full day's game veiwing with picnic lunch, overnight Osupuko Lodge F/B.

Day 12 Full days game veiwing with picnic lunch, overnight Osupuko Lodge F/B.

Tarangire (Tented) Safari Lodge has the best views in all of Tarangire. It is not an intimate small camp setting, but I would guess Osupuko is not either. You stated you wanted more camps, well Tarangire Safari Lodge is tented, though the tents are rather close together in a row overlooking the river.

Day 13 Drive to Arusha SOS childrens village ,lunch then transfere to Killimanjaro airport.

I like this itinerary for May thru July.

Atravelynnn, thank you for your response and advice, your right there is nothing suggested for the afternoon of the crater We are thinking early June. Do you know of anyone that has done the overnight stay at the Boma?

atravelynn Feb 10th, 2014 07:02 AM

Not at that Boma, but the homestays I've done in Africa other places have been terrific. You could ask WT for a reference.
