Great list of questions. If the answers given are honest, I bet many people would decline the lion cub petting opportunity.

Thanks!

Div,

I am not sure I understand what you are saying. Do you mean Lion sanctuaries should not be supported or just not visited?

sniktalk,
Check out the link in the first post,,,this is not about sanctuaries- rather the "walk with lions type excursions that are offerred sometimes (ie Vic Falls). The cubs are not "rescued" from a farmer who "had" to shoot the mother- they are raised for canned hunting- sorry way to make a living!!

Best wishes-

sorry that i did obviously not make it cristal clear:

i agree with you on NOT visiting venues where one can play with lion cubs!!!

as you might remember i am always opposing ANY venue which offers WALKS, PLAY, PET, RIDE.....wildlife as elephant safaris, lion walks, ostrich riding, petting cheetah etc.

i thought you know me better from my past postings.

paul hart (as many other reliable conservation orgs) has got our unlimited support incl. adoption and sponsoring equipment!
