place to relax near pretoria

We are a spanish family, the couple and our 25 and 21 years old sons.

We are planning the last details of our trip of this summer holidays and have already the flight confimations.

Our schedule is as follows :

2days/3 nights in Victoria Falls
4days/5 nights in Cape Town
4days/5nights in Kruger Area (crocodile bridge gate, Skukuza and Satara)
1 day/1night at Blyde River Canyon

We have to state that the advices of this forum have been of great help. For this reason we would like to ask for a suggestion.

After this exhausting trip we will need some relax.

Our idea is to spend the last stage of our trip, 4 days more or less, in a place close to Pretoria, Harbeespoort Dam, Kosmos or any other place where we can relax before taking the return flight to our home.

We have looked at Sun City, but hotel prices are very expensive.

Can anybody suggest us a hotel, resort, bungalow or apartment where we can relax during the morning taking a sun bath and swimming in the pool, but that where we could also take a walk in the afternoon, anywhere with shops, bars where taking a beer, pizzerias or restaurants to have dinner, etc.

We look forward to hearing your news.
Thanks in advance
Josep Maria

I can't answer your specific question, but I did stay at Skukuza and Satara in Kruger, and both are great. There is a road near Satara (I think its called the S-100) and it was great for gameviewing. I saw the Big 5 in one day, and while I only saw one leopard, saw huge groups of elephant and buffalo, and lots of lion and a few rhino. Sounds like a great trip.
