Picture of a cute "lion"
Someone sent an email to me with pictures of a lion. There are two pictures so open the link and then click "Next" to see the second picture. I hope you find them as amusing as I did. :)

Hi Cindy
That is funny! The body did not look right, yet side on he really looked lion like. The haircut does seem a bit mean when you are not a real lion! Wonder what dog breed he is? I was sure it was going to be a photo of your grandson in a lion suit! Kind regards Kaye |
hahahahahahahahaha. i have a great pyrenees - hmmmmm, too bad she's female. she could have a beautiful, white mane...

I'm glad you all had a chuckle. I just looked at them again and I'm still smiling. You're right, Kaye, the body didn't look quite right but he sure is the right color. Aknards, if I had a long haired dog like this one I might give it a mane and puffy tail just once for the fun of it. Someone was pretty creative to think this up.

Cindy,
Summers in NC are brutal - hot and swampy/humid - so our first summer with our Pyr, we took her to a groomer and asked that she be clipped short. When we picked her up, we found a naked, shaved to the skin Pyrenees. (She not only looked ridiculous but it was a huge mistake because Pyrs can burn.) Turns out that she must have been extremely humiliated and/or uncomfortable without her beautiful coat because she spent the next four weeks "making" all over our house. She was really pissed! So was I. I felt like sending the carpet cleaning bill to the moron dog groomer...:) anita |
Anita, dogs know, don't they. Poor thing. I tried to save money by clipping our schnauzer myself. She knew. I had to take her in to have a pro do it because she was so ashamed of how she looked.
