Persian City
I'm interested in knowing about Taviriz,Persia (now Iran), a city listed as the birthplace of my Grandfather. I can't find it on the map of Iran. It is spelled just the way it was spelled on the Immigration paper of Peter Jacob. Has the name of the city changed? Also, does anyone know about an Earthquake in 1925, that my Great Grandmother was killed in? Thank you.
