The yellow flower 6th row from the top
It belongs to the Malvaceae family (Cotton family)
Hibiscus or Abutilon ?
3.5 inch flower Hibiscus (seems like H. calyphyllus )
1.5 inch Abutilon (maybe A. hirtum )

Hi Patty. Someone took the plastic animal from the "hair drying room" and so we had to twist Paul the barman's arm to give away the location of another piece - he was very reluctant to do so and Anthony had to intercede on our behalf. I don't wear g-strings myself, but I do see what you meant... ;-)

I like your photos and it'll be interesting to read your report...

aby,
Joy's Camp is located in the southeast part of the reserve about an hour's drive from Natorbi gate on Joy Adamson's campsite.

You're right. I have no idea why we ID'd the specific species of thick-knee but not the dik diks. So what species of dik dik are they?

Thanks for the plant identifications. 1 & 2 were indeed from a garden. The yellow flower was closer to 1.5" so is the latter.

Paul,
How dare someone remove the rhino from the changing room! Well, in case you were wondering the accompanying clue was "you'll find the largest of the big 5 where the smallest dwell" or something like that. Hope you enjoyed your stay at Elsa's! Did you stop at Joy's?

It all makes sense now... and we still have the plastic animals! We certainly did enjoy Elsa's, and we were invited to Joy's for a sundowner but couldn't make it because of the rain (it's actually a MUCH longer story than that, but I guess you can wait for my trip report).
