Patti- I need help

Hi patti,

In case you didn't see my other post, I received my Motorola cell phone with a 110V charger......where can i get a dual voltage charger for this phone ( V180) and if not possible, will bringing a converter and adaptor do the trick?? Thanks, Susan

Susan,

Until Patti sees this, maybe this helps....

Go to Radioshack or Circuit City or similar and get yourself a global convertor. It has the two pin or three pin or whatever your destination calls for. All you need to do is, pin your cell phone with charger to this adapter and plug it into the wall at your destination. Easy!!!

I answered in your other thread. A voltage converter should work as well although I've never used one personally.

Thank you everyone for all the good advice ......I ordered the dual voltage charger compatible with my Motorola V180 from ebay.......it was 0.99 cents......I will probably bring a convertor with me anyway......now on to buying a camera!!!

i have not had much experience with cameras....although i was given a Kodak Brownie for my 6th birthday.....I still have the first picture i ever took with it......a rabbit....

for the past few years, i have taken disposables with me for traveling honestly, I am usually so awestruck by what i am seeing, that i forget to take a picture...

I would like to buy a digital point and shoot that will take very good pictures....it must have a viewfinder as well as a screen........but most importantly, it must be very very EASY to operate.....Since i don't have the time to learn , I will save the higher tech for next time..........any suggestions??

Hi Patti,

I'm sure you get lots of responses but I have a few questions:

Do you have an approximate price range and where are you located (prices avry greatly from country to country)? I should know where you are but drop in and out of this board when I am traveling so don't have the bios on the regulars down yet.

How long are your trips and will you be bring a laptop with you? I have run into lots of digital users who have filled their memory cards and then face a difficult decision about which photos to delete. I always bring along some spare CDs and offer to burn their photos for the to free up their cards but you may not find someone to do that for you.

George
