Passport Requirements?
 

Hey Guys-

I will be traveling to Morocco in June (this summer) for tourism / travel. My passport expires in December 2018.

I've been trying to find information about the "passport expiration date" rules for Morocco and some websites suggest that my passport (and entry) will not be valid if my passport expires within 6 months while others say three months and others say nothing; just a "valid passport" is needed.

I emailed the Moroccan embassy, but haven't heard back.

Does anyone have any insight into this?

The official US State Department website says nothing about 6 months OR 3 months. Just valid for the duration of travel

The UK government travel advice, the US government travel advice and the International Air transport Association Travel Information manual all say your passport only needs to be valid for the duration of the intended stay.
