Once again, great videos and thanks for sharing them! I really don't want to buy a camcorder for my next trip but your videos are convincing me I need one!

Thanks for all the videos, Kevin! I shoot both photos and video while on safari...yes, it's possible! I LOVE having videos! You not only get the movement and action of the wildlife, but also hear all the sounds and comments all around you. It still cracks me up when I hear one of my friends on my Kenya video comment about a bull elephant, "He has nice, unblemished skin!" If I had to only take one camera to Africa, I'd take a video camera.

thank you so much for sharing this, Kevin. It makes my upcoming trip all the more real.

Don't know if you've mentioned it already, I ask anyway. What kind of camcorder are you using?

stakerk Sep 1st, 2006 08:31 AM

I used a Panasonic PV-GS35. The reason is works pretty well outdoors and has a 30X zoom. Just as I had hoped the zoom was great in filming game. I paid about $300 on sale.

We have enjoyed videos so much that in future will be tempted to pop for an HD camcorder.
