Panoramic Route JNB to Kruger?

Has anyone driven the panoramic route from Johannesburg to Kruger/Sabi Sands? I'm interested in driving the escarpment/panoramic route (God's Window, Three Rondavels, etc), but am curious about if this is white knuckle driving.

Thanks for your help.

Dreaming, I have driven up and down the escarpment several times. It doesn't even remotely qualify as white knuckle driving. See, for example, this thread:

Its a pretty ride with nice countryside. The driving is very easy and the high country around Dullstroom is very nice. Long Tom Pass was completely fogged in when I came down it so I didn't get to appreciate it fully. The area along the escarpment, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Gods Window is also beautiful. The only white knuckle part was driving upa seriously rutted dirt track to a lovely little hotel just outside Kruger.

Friends: in June '05 I am hoping to take a trip to southern Africa: S.Af, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. I considering University Travel located in Bloomington, Ind--does anyone know of this company? I have visited their website and it looks excellent. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done a trip with them. Thanks. Birder57

Piece of cake. We just returned from there. Not difficult at all, and we did it in the rain!
