When I started this thread, I thought I was the only mad person - but now I feel a lot more comfortable ;)

I have been fortunate (but unfortunate for the prey) to have seen quite a few daytime hunts, chases and successful kills - all have been lion and cheetah kills in the Masai Mara, Amboseli and Sweetwaters. Quite a few have been captured on a shaky camcorder !!!(I have also seen many failed attempts).

I have also seen quite a few serious battles - lions vs hyenas (Amboseli) and hyenas vs hyenas (Amboseli). I don't know why but the predators in Amboseli do love a fight!!

I think the private concessions in Botswana provide the perfect locations for "overnighters"
