So after a day crammed full of M&A activity, it's my time to be Africa bound!

Leave tomorrow morning, fly to London, spend a few hours birding on Hampstead Heath, lunch with my sister and parents then off to Joberg.

This time we're visiting a new area Pafuri, so I'll give lots of details.

The wish list for the trip includes in no particular order; the Styx Pride, Eyrefield Pride, any Leopards, Dogs (pleeease) and of course at Pafuri, the "Flying Garfield" aka Pels Fishing Owl.

See you in 12 days - way too short a time!

Just a warning, Thursday weather is set to be raining here in London, so you may find a Hampstead Heath visit a little miserable!
But will keep fingers crossed for you that you get a break in the rain for your stay!
