One week and counting!
 

One week from today I'll be headed for Africa again! I'm looking forward to comparing this one with my time in Tanzania.

My itinerary:

October 2nd: Seattle to Cape Town (in the air over 24 hours)
October 3rd - 8th: Cape Town S.A., Parker Guest House
October 8th - 11th: Victoria Falls Zimbabwe, IIala Lodge
October 11th: Overnight at JNB, Safari Club Hotel
October 12th - 17th: Mashatu Tented Camp, Botswana
October 17th-22nd Mala Mala, South Africa

Hi, Carrie - we will be departing a week from tomorrow SEA-LHR-JNB-VFA. This will be my third southern Africa trip and we will be aboard the Shongololo Express for 16 days departing from Victoria Falls the day before you arrive. Have an absolutely wonderful time.

Louise, I didn't know what the Shongololo Express was and looked it up. That looks like a very unique trip. Hope you have a fabulous time and I'll be looking for your trip report when you get back :-)

My husband was happy to hear someone has a longer flight over. Just kidding - but he is NOT looking forward to our 18 hr flight.

Did you manage to squeeze everything into just carry-on for this trip?
