One more attempt at posting safari pictures

Well done VR - thanks for sharing! The first woodland kingfisher is an amazing shot, also loved the hyena close up and lots of interesting leopard shots. Looks like a fantastic trip.

Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed seeing the leopards.
Question: Where were these shots taken? Sherry |
vr:
Nice pictures--lots of leopard movement shots. Your picture of the hyena, without the hideous "grin," made it look kinda nice! |
The shots were taken in Simbambili. There was a lot of co-operation between Elephant Plains and Chitwa-Chitwa, but it seemed to me that we got better positions and stayed longer. our tracker was really sensitive and seemed to anticipate the animals moves. Yes bat, I thought the hyenas were looking coy and couldn't resist the 'come-hither' glances.

nice pictures. what kind of camera did you use?

Your leopard shots and all the others are now available. I especially liked the leopard looking through the grass. The young zebra was adorable. You had some great lion and elephant pictures too. Thanks for persisting and getting them all posted.

You have some great pictures, vr. I really like the first little ele and the closeups of the lions and cheetahs. Thanks for posting them!
