One day in Tel Aviv

We have one day on our own before joining a tour. What we be an off the beaten trail fun thing to do? Any restaurant suggestions?

Not so much off the beaten path maybe, but I'd start at the Carmel Market, then wander through the Neve Tzedek district and maybe out to the beach and end up in Jaffa for a meal at Dr. Shakshuka. Map - https://goo.gl/maps/G16f2Sd7DJvtecbR8

Romano, at Yaffo st for after hours drink, dinner and of course TederFM https://www.teder.fm/en/shows/1002
Joz ve Loz at hatnufa 7 (check if they're open and book if they are) https://www.jozveloz.com/
Abu Nassar in Yafo https://www.abunassarhinnawi.rest.co.il/
The Old Man and the Sea, also in Yafo (the sweets!) https://hazakenvehayam.co.il/
A wander through Florentin to look at the street art is a nice bit of exploration but it's completely gentrified now. Nice cafes though. I also like the area south of Shalma Road but that's because friends of mine used to have their studios there. Lots of people consider it a ghetto.
