Oct in Morocco 4 days?

We are going to Spain and Morocco just seems so tempting. We would only have about 4 days to see some of it. We could possibly fly from Seville. Is this practical? Where would you go? Any advice for tours? What about the weather in late October? Many thanks for always great advice in these forums.

Has anybody been there in October??

We were there in March so can't help you with the weather in October, but check out www.wunderground.com for historical weather there (use their trip planner feature).

You will probably not be able to fly direct from Seville, but we were able to fly direct from Barcelona to Marrakech. With only 4 days I would recommend you do Marrakech with a daytrip to the High Atlas Mtns.

I was in Morocco last September and it was very hot. I think late October would cooler and more comfortable. I doubt that it would be too cool.

If I had just four days I'd spend two in Fez and two in Marrakech. If I had two more I'd go to Rabat.

The desert is amazing but you won't have time; it's a full day's journey each way so save it for your next visit.

With just four days it makes no sense to try to get in both Fez and Marrakesh...you'll lose an entire day just getting from one to the other and you will not have done either city properly. Better to stick to just one destination, or why not put it off until you can see the country properly?
