Sorry to get back to this so late. I got sidetracked by other things. No one in our group took the pre- and post-trip extensions. We didn't see any cats until our 3rd (of 4) camp. Saw 8 lions lounging together first night. The mature males were missing. Then another day saw the 2 mature males and 2 of the females from the same group. The dominant male was eating a waterbuck. Later saw 4 males at Linkwasha. They're known in the area as the "four brothers." We sat and watched one for quite a long time before someone noticed that all four were there (they were up on a ridge a good distance away). The other 3 were very well camouflaged, but they were there. One morning we saw a kill one of them had made near our camp. We saw three leopards on this trip. A male in a tree at Moremi Nat'l Park during the daytime. Then at Linkwasha we saw one (female) at night drinking at a water trough near one of the watering holes. Another evening at dusk we saw a male near the same area. We were delighted to hear every lap of the female's tongue in the water trough. Nice to see AND hear them.

retiredatlast,
Thanks for your reply. Sounds like you had a great trip. We are still trying to decide between this OAT trip and planning our own trip to Zambia.

Cooncat,
From reading your other posts, it sounds as though you have decided to go to Zambia with Barry's help in planning and making your reservations. If we do go to Zambia, we are looking at almost the same itinerary and May/June time that you are! We need to decide soon.
