november december africa travel stupid?

tell me the truth everyone. will it be awful if i try to go to botawana to see anything last week november/1st week december?

now that i am two weeks into research, i feel i have hit the awful wall of: is it worth the money and time if i'm going to see pretty landscapes and no animals at all?

thanks for your truthful answers.

You'll see plenty - it's my favorite time in Bots.

Yes, the issue at this time of year is not what you will see (LOTS) it is the heat. If you are healthy and able to tolerate heat, by all means go! (It's the heat that makes it the off season-- the animals have to live there...and they'll need water, so you'll see them!)

If you have some flexibility, consider early September - cool mornings, warm later on. Botswana in summer is HOT!
