Not packed, but going anyways!

Ohmigosh, as the clock ticks over the mark of midnight, I can't believe it's the day for us to go and I am just now finishing the last set of books for a client!

Just a quickie note to everyone, as I really must get to bed for a few hours before it's time to get up and race to pack up & go (we don't leave until the evening flight). This has to be my most disorganised pack ever, all this client stuff got in the way. But, I guess they do pay the bills.

I'm so excited though! I can't wait to show Jamie (our son) Africa and have him meet all of our wonderful friends. He is quite excited about going too, which is good, I was glad to hear that he wasn't just coming because I insisted on dragging him half way around the world. He even bought convertible pants & a Nikon camera, so he really must be looking forward to it!

I'll drop in on the board if the internet works somewhere - or otherwise, I will report back when we get home,

Asante sana of course for everyone's help for ideas on this one!

LyndaS is not yet packed... bad girl! She who is so organized!
Though I'm sure it's all just sitting there waiting to be tossed into the bag. Sometimes it's just best not to fret it and go with the flow.

I'm sure you'll both enjoy a return visit and with Jamie you'll be watching his face as he experiences the things you so much enjoyed and still do, but for the first time. Priceless!

You mean you haven't been packed for 3 months already? Well, at least you have your own packing list posted on the forum....you can refer to that

We look forward to your trip report and a West Coast GTG sometime later this year.

Safari njema, Lynda!

I think you can probably pack blindfolded. Have a wonderful trip and will look forward to your report.

Lynda, I have to say safari njema even though I was a bit tired of Fodor’s even before a thread of mine was closed. http://www.fodors.com/community/afri...d-grabbing.cfm

Have a great trip! Traveling with your own pilot might come in handy.
