Anyone know if they allow children to participate in game drives (daughter is 5). Thanks

In what country are you traveling? Where is Nkorho located?

Nkhoro is a very small camp that is actually located on Djuma's reserve in the Sabi Sand. It is a budget alternative to staying at the already budget alternative of Djuma Bush Lodge.

While the same game will be enjoyed, one thing I didn't care for is that I remember it having electric fences/wires to keep the elephants out of camp. But, the Nkhoro vehicles do have plenty of room to spread out in the relatively large Djuma reserve, although I don't know whether or not they have traversing rights to the entire reserve or just a portion.

Thanks Roccco for info on the location.

laguna - re a child of 5 out on game drives... not likely, as open vehicles are used on private reserves in South Africa/Kruger; then there's the ability of a child to be quiet and attentive. Usually, the minimum age is 12. But the best place to find out definitely is to contact the camp. If not allowed, check if they even accept children this young; if so, whether they provide services/activities for when parents are out on game drives; also whether there's a separate seating for children's meals.
