It depends on what you have in mind, large boat or dahabiya, budget cruise or small boat with commensurate price. There's a wide range & it'll also matter what the state of things are, what's available. So time frame will matter.

Whatever you choose, read the reviews thoroughly, as you will eat, drink and sleep on the ship. I personally find Medium-sized ships with friendly staff more comfortable than larger ones.
