Nile Cruises

Has anyone taken the Nile cruise recently on King of Thebes, Sonesta or Movenpick ? I would love to hear any opinions. Thanks,

With the exception of the Arbercrombie & Kent new ship which looks more like a very large yacht... the best shiplines on the Nile are the Oberoi, Sonesta and Movenpick.
We were on the Movenpick and were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, the cleanliness, and the crew were great, as were the meals.
Being the primary lines, their boats dock at the bulkhead so you don't have to walk through other boats to get to shore.
With the Movenpick, the don't dock with the rest of the ships at Luxor bulkhead, but rather on a separate island a bit away from town center and where they have their own hotel... but they do have a regularly scheduled shuttle bus that takes you into Luxor is you wish.
Also each boat has armed security aboard, but you don't see them.
