Ngoko Safaris??

Is anyone familiar with this company? I recently found them when googling 'Zimbabwe safaris'...They are limited to safaris in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana and offer some interesting itineraries. Although, a few of them are the scheduled safaris offered by Wilderness and CCAfrica, but under Ngoko's cutesy names...They are based in London and Zimbabwe....

Thanks in advance,

fern

Ngoko Safaris are a fantastic, professional company who specialise in Southern Africa. Fiona Thompson runs the company from the UK and Benson Siyawareva is a Zimbabwean Professional Guide who is ranked as one of the Top Ten African Guides.

I have travelled with this company twice to Zimbabwe (2007 and 2010)and been very fortunate to have had Benson as a personal guide in 2007 - it is easily still the best safari experience that I have ever had !!

Use this company and, if you can afford a little bit extra, book Benson - I guarantee you won't regret it.

I'm not on this forum very much, but just saw the responses to my original inquiry. Well, I took a leap of faith in 2006 and booked with Fiona/Ngoko and have since booked two more safaris with her (I'm going to Botswana in March). I can't imagine using anyone but Fiona for safaris to Southern Africa. I hope she expands to Tanzania!

But did you get to Indonesia? Thanks for the Ngoko update.
