I was watching, too. I saw a croc in the water about 1/2 hr ago.

Is the little guy OK? He hasn't really gotten up!

I frequently see a big group of large birds at Pete's pond in the evenings... does anyone know what that is? Guineafowl?

Guineafowl. Tons of them at Mashatu. The big birds seen often are Kori Bustards.

The elephant is in trouble and many of us have been watching his ordeal the last couple of days. So sad.

Anyway, if you go the site and click on BLOG and scroll to the end, you will be able to read the comments and concerns about the elephant....as well as many other things about this wonderful site.

oh how sad for my new elephant friend. Is it true that this webcam will be stopped in November?
