National Tour Associations?

If one is going on a combined tour of Kenya and Tanzania is it sufficient if the tour operator is registered with the Kenya Assoc. of Tour Operators, but not with the Tanzanian Tourist Assoc?

Am I correct in understanding that this means that in Tanzania one cannot go into the National Parks?

Thanks.

The tour associations are good for piece of mind (mostly) but the tour operator licenses are more important.

A few companies are licensed to do business in both countries. Their vehicles are allowed to cross borders and enter the parks.

If not, company A in Kenya will partner with Company B in Tanzania and your safari will be seamless.
