Elephant! But I just saw it out of the corner of my eye (working, sigh) and then the camera shifted.

I found the site and downloaded the Real Play, but I must have chosen the wrong setting because I get the picture, but it is not clear. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks for any help

tigerpaw,

I am not at all technically proficient, but I think it's a glitch with the webcam today. It's been out of focus a lot for me--and yesterday it wasn't.

Is your picture clear at least some of the time?

At night it's not as clear. At least that's been my experience.

Thanks Leely and Cooncat.
No, it really hasn't been clear at all. I can see some animal shapes at times, but not even clear enough to tell what most of them are.
Some of the time was during the daylight.
I only have a dialup connection---maybe that makes a difference.
Maybe it will be better tomorrow!
Thanks

Hey cooncat:
Doing my best to get you over that 30 mark so Bwana will recognize you also as a valuable fodorite.

Even without animal activity (or any that I can see) the lighting on the landscape and the sounds are very cool.

Cooncat already is a valuable Fodorite!
The thread with her name in it has over 120 replies! That should be super-star (or Rocco) status!

Agreed she is already--but that thread was for and about her--this one is by her. So she is covering more bases.

Mmmm... 30 responses for and no award posting by Bwana... maybe his Amarula-Mefloquine mix last night was too strong... or must first finalize her itinerary?

uh oh cooncat--the pressure is on!

[btw, all of my office mates spent the morning periodically checking the wildcam--they thoroughly enjoyed it.]

Mitch--How did you find that? I just noticed that if you right click on the video (in the national geographic site) that you can watch in real player without the commercials also--that is probably a "duh" to most of you but not to me.

What are the things that look like shooting stars going across the screen right now? Seem to be too definate to be artifact.
