Kavey I have a .PDF version of a Kenya Restaurant Guide with a Nairobi section but I seem to no longer have your email address. If you have a public address to post or still have mine I will send it to you and you can get a preview of some options until you can get your hands on the one Sandi mentioned.
Have a great trip by the way.

I’m reading way too much but not enough!
Thanks for the hand held tour of the information next to your name in every single post! I actually looked through my emails for your address – or did I?
My TV did not work this morning when I wanted to watch the news; this makes me think it is not plugged in!
Will send file momentarily, Den

Heh, heh, no worries Den. Not many posters here choose to display an email address. I do as I get an occasional email regarding a post I've made and am happy to help if I can. Thanks for that PDF!

Den's Kenyan food guide is useful too:
Suggestions include
br />
High-end dining
================
Mandhari Restaurant (which is handily in my hotel, the Nairobi Serena)
Tamarind (in the National Bank)
Flametree (in the Panafric Hotel)
Karen Golf & Country Club
Mercury Lounge (in ABC Place)
The Summit (in the Grand Regency Hotel)
Then there's a list of top 10 restaurants where the writer picks one restaurant for each category, and also provides some runner up recommendations
Category Recos
===============
African/ Kenyan = Amaica (China Centre, Ngong Road)
Chinese = China Jiangsu (Soin Arcade, Westlands)
Contintental = Pango Brasserie (Fairview Hotel, Bishops Road)
Ethopian = Habesha (Argwings Kodhek Road, Hurlington)
French = Alan Bobbe's Bistro (Riverside Drive)
Grills = Carnivore (Langata Road)
Indian = Open House (Crossroads Shopping Centre, Langata Road, Karen)
Italian = Osteria del Chianti (Lenana Road, Hurlington)
[Mediterraneo is runner up]
Japanese = Misono (Lenana Road, Hurlington)
Nyama Choma = Njuguna's (OPP, ABC Place)
Thai = Thai Chi (Stanley Hotel)
And there's a special mention for Blanco's (Argwings Kodhek Road, Hurlington)
