Nairobi Airport

I want to get from Johannesburg airport to Kilimanjaro airport. It looks like the best route is going through Nairobi. How much time do I need for a layover? I'm assuming I have to go through customs. Is an hour enough or two hours?

You'll have to check on customs and immigration requirements. However, even if you don't have to go throught them, I'd give yourself two hours.

If your bags are checked through from JNB to JRO, you won't need to go through immigration or customs at NBO. You'll only need to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You'll go through security at your departure gate. I would still allow more than one hour in case of flight delays.
