Nairobi

We are arriving in early morning hours on July 9th into NBO airport and looking for a reputable tour guide for the day before we meet up with our Safari Tour Group.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!

[email protected]

Mention my name to him as we exhange about 4 e-mails a year and he knows who I am.
Besides, How many Percy people are out there. :)

Kennedy Muthoka is the best guide around Nairobi that I've seen and is quite popular with Fodorites. You can usually reach him via e-mail at either [email protected] or [email protected].

thanks a bunch! will check all guides.
do we need a high speed memory card? just purchased a new camera and 16 gb card.
any suggestions?

I would take extra memory cards along.... like say another 8 Gig or 16 Gig.

It all depends how many short movies you take and how "picture happy" you are. :)

Some people go on a Safari and take about 400 to 500 pictures plus 15-20 one minute movies( like me) , other come back with 4000 plus pictures.

Better to have extra Gig cards then to run out.

I took and 8 Gig and a 4 Gig. Never had to use the 4 Gig Memory Card.

But hey !!! you take what is best for your amount of picture taking.

When you first see those animals , you will want to click on everything :)
