Thanks so much!

I phoned Meeghan at the charity today and told her where the project is at and she was really pleased.
She suggested I come down in person to give them the cheque (which I'd intended to anyway) and they'd get a photo taken and put it on the website!
I also called the company who arranged the trip I took in April last year (where I met David Shepherd and also took the photos in question) and let them know the status. They expressed interest in supporting any similar project I do off the back of this year's festival trip though I haven't decided what to do with that yet.

This is such a good organization. If you go to Kavey's site (if still up) or google David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, you'll see that someone is doing something to stop poaching in Africa and save these beautiful animals. I love my photo Kavey and thank you for doing all this work to bring funds and attention to this great cause. Even if you are reading this and Kavey's current project is over, the foundation could use your help, no matter how small.

Thanks Clematis!
I'm glad you like your print and that you support the work of this charity. It's certainly not the only organisation funding and supporting conservation work of this type but it strikes me as a dedicated, organised, genuine bunch of people committed to wildlife conservation.
The last day to buy prints is Monday 28th February, after which point, proceeds will revert to me personally.

Thanks Liz!
Today's been a busy day for sales as a number of friends (both online ones and ones from offline/"real life") have bought the prints they'd said they were intending to buy but hadn't got around to ordering!
Print sales profit are now at 1081 US$ and there's possibly one or two more sales that might come through today and tomorrow.
Direct donations are about $500 plus about £80 UK.

woohooo Kavey! we want a final tally. I bought 4 this morning and can't wait to get them. looks like you nearly tripled your amount since you posted this three weeks ago (you are at around 1700-1800 US right?) here's hoping you meet that triple mark!

As in the post above yours I'm at around $1100 (US hence the $) PLUS the direct donations which are around $500-600.

In pounds we're talking around £900 (loosely calculated).

I'll post a final tally when all moneys are in and counted.

The two of the cheetahs (as one, and partners, I believe - the one where they were facing each other - you could see their faces), and, Across the Maasai Mara, and Blue and Gold.

must ponder on theme. another project!
