Mwagusi (Ruaha) and Selous in February ok?

Hello again,

We are getting down to the nitty-gritty, planning our first trip to Africa in Feb. 07, ironing out an itinerary. After the northern circuit we'd love a change of scenery with water! Our agent has proposed a three day stay at each of Ruaha River Lodge and Sand River in the Selous, followed perhaps by a few nights at Fox's Lazy Lagoon. We're concerned about rain, impassable tracks and especially tse tse flies at Ruaha and the Selous in February. Has anyone any experience with these camps at this time? Also, we've not read much on this site about Lazy Lagoon. It sounds a bit "rustic". Again, February a good time for this resort?

Also, would Mwagusi be a better choice than Ruaha River Lodge?

And here is another question! (I think the problem is there is too much info on offer on the 'net and confusion and doubt is starting to set in!) - After Nairobi and the Mara (Little Governor's or Bateleur? or Kichwa Tembo?) we want a 3 day stay near to views of Kilimanjaro. Our quandary: Ol Donyo Wuas, Tortilis, or Finch-Hatton's? We crave comfort, uniqueness and good guiding!

Thank-you to everyone for being so patient and kind with their advice!
