Hi, has anyone on the forums been to VAMIZI ? - i am thinking of making this the beach end to our honeymoon - and is it really $850 per person in august ????!!!!!

are you sure there are deals ? - my tour operator is denying this and wants to charge the full rate !

Gather you're talking August 2010. While the Vamizi site shows specials, these are only for 2009. They ((or similar) maybe extended thru 2010.

Since your agent wants to charge the rate (rack = highest vs discount which most reputable agents receive) as shown on the site, I'd contact Vamizi direct and see what they can offer.

Actually the rates are definitely for 2010 as well. Their exact wording is as follows: "If you book and confirm for 2010 between now and the end of 2009, you can apply the current 2009 long stay offer to 2010…….)".
