Les Cascades is stunning - beautiful hotel in Cape town, lots of stairs but stunning views and graet food ...

mozambique: marlin is the best lodge to choose from - beautiful beaches, great chalets (you can choose from classic, luxury or executive etc) and really nice. easy to fly from johannesburg to vilanculos, and then it's a short hop by boat...

Confusedbride: I am sure you won't starve -- the food was very good. Obviously they tend to have a seafood slant but there was other things as well. Dinner typically was a choice between 2 or 3 items. If you decide to stay there I would notify them ahead of time that you desire food other than seafood and I'm sure they can plan to accommodate you.

Breakfeast was plated, usually with eggs to order and then there is a table buffet spread with breads, cheeses, lunch meats, fresh fruits, etc.

Lunch was typically some kind of plated sandwich.

I would check ahead with them with your concern and make sure they will cater more to your tastes which I believe they will. You definitely want to enjoy your meals in paradise.
