Sallam 'lekum would-be travelers to Morocco,

With reference to yesterday's attacks inside Istanbul's Ataturk Airport (peace be upon all the slain innocents and their mourning families), it's perhaps worth re-visiting this post regarding the security measures in place at Morocco's airports:

No 'ordinary' people are allowed inside each airport's building, and those that are have to go through a security check located literally at the front door.

My understanding is that the attacks in Istanbul started outside the airport building, and one explosion blew a hole in the airport wall.

See (from NYT, emphasis mine):

The attack began shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, Turkish officials said, when two gunmen opened fire with automatic weapons at a security checkpoint <b>outside</b> Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, one of Europe’s busiest. They then detonated their explosives, setting off two fireballs. A third attacker set off explosives in the parking lot.

So, unfortunately, I don't see that Morocco's airports (or any other country's) would be any more secure.
