Morocco Trip

Just booked a 7 day trip to Morocco in April. Flying in and out of Casablanca.
Interested in seeing Marrakech/Chefchaouen
Looking for recommendations of other possible cities not to miss.
Also looking for recommendations of things to do/ places to see/restaurants/etc.

While I love Marrakech & have spent more time there than anywhere else on a number of trips, with only 7 days I suggest you confine yourself to 1 end of the country to reduce travel time between locations. Chefchaouen combined with Fes (rather than Marrakech) comes to mind. Visit Volubilis on your way from one to the other. Morocco is a place that benefits greatly from slow travel & though 7 days doesn't exactly feel like "slow", you might better get the effect by choosing 2 very different places not too far from one another.

If you can say how many nights you'll have in Morocco and the times of day you arrive & leave you'll get more precise suggestions which can mean a lot on a short trip.

So 6 nights, 6 days including your arrival day. Firstly, I suggest you not pause in Casa on arrival, head to your first destination, then return to Casa the day before your departure to see the Hassan II Mosque and overnight before your flight.

For your 6 nights, I'd spend at least 3 (2 full days) in Fes. If you'd like 2 nights in Chefchaouen that leaves 1 for your last night in Casablanca. Many here on Fodor's prefer Fes to Marrakech and it has the benefit of being not too far from Chefchaouen plus a very nice drive between, especially in spring when the wild red poppies are in bloom over the rolling hills.

Fes or Marrakech

Traveling to Morocco in April. Fes or Marrakech has more to offer?
Also is Chefchaouen worth traveling to.

I completely agree with everything MmePerdu has advised you. Marrakech by train is 8 hours from Fes-do guessing maybe 4-5 from Casa. Either way itís a long ways and chews up nearly a full day of your precious time just getting there.

Complete concur with MmePerdu on:

3 nights Fes
2 nights Chefchaeoun (and work in Volubilis somewhere in these 5 days)
1 night Casa. Get to the Hassan II mosque in early afternoon and spend what was for me the coolest 2 hours of my entire trip.

You will have a great time.
