Skot: Well, it depends where you will be going. However, the nights will be rather chilly both in October and November. Try to finish your trip before Ramadan starts (around November 14).
Usually, weather should be nice during the days in both months.

as ursula says, it depends on where you were going. however, we went in january and the only thing we couldn't do was the trek to toubkal _ snow. we did take the trek into the sahara and went to essaouria. The weather in Marrakech was lovely _ sunny and warm during the day, just a little cool in the evenings. depending on when ramadan stars you might want to miss it _ morocco isn't a really strict country, for a muslim one, and as a tourist probably you wouldn't be affected much, but i think it might be easier to finish the trip before ramadan's fasting starts.

To get insider information, contact Amina Zakarris, who was my official guide in Fez....she is English speaking, really knowledgeable, has her new website up and running at www.gomorocco.ma and could tell you about the weather in different areas. If you go to Fez you should contact her for the day.....she's in her 30s, smart, fun and the price is right.
