Morocco: Place to overnight between Fes and Merzouga
 

My husband and I are driving from Fes to Merzouga and as it is a seven+ hour drive would like to perhaps stay overnight somewhere in between. We are visiting Azrou but that is still pretty far north. Maybe a small town or village in the High Atlas off of N13 that's about mid way where we could do a day hike? Perhaps between Midelt and Er-Rich? Thank you.
