we are gong to Morocco on our honeymoon in June. We arrive into Marrakech, and have a riad booked for 4 nights. Our plan was to then do a desert trek for a few nights, and then finish with about 3 nights in Essaouira, before flying home from Marrakech. It seems most desert or mountain excursions leave and return to Marrakech. So we are assuming we will have to return back to Marrakech before heading to Essaouira. Can anyone advise if we should wait to book a desert trip upon arrival? I am hearing mixed advice. Do you think it’s reasonable that we could leave for the airport from Essaouira the morning of our flight back? Flight home leaves at 1pm. Trying to avoid another night in Marrakech so we can make the most of our time. Any advice?
