My friend and I are travelling to the middle east (Syria, Jordan, maybe Lebanon) and we are having a bit of a debate. He wants to end our trip in Cyprus. I am wary because I don't like big touristy resort type places and I have heard that Cyprus is a big <BR>tourist trap. Any suggestions?

It depends where you go. Ayia Napa is the really touristy place. If you want a quieter time, go to Paphos or up into the Troodos mountains
