We are visiting Egypt in Feb 2006, we are planning on also visiting Marrakesh.
Has anyone flown from Cairo to Marrakesh?
Any tips or ideas would be great.

Should we arrange accomodation before arriving in Morocco, or is it easy to find something.
None of our group speak French, will that be a problem?
Hiring a car is that a good idea.

You shouldn't have too much trouble in Marrakech without french. Learn to say please and thank you and you should be fine. We found the majority of people spoke some, if not good, English. A couple of words in arabic would probably get a better response such as greeting 'Salaam Alikhoum' -(bad spelling) and thank you 'Shukran' thank you is 'La shukran'.

I would arrange accomodation beforehand and suggest a riad instead of a traditional hotel. have a look at the Morocco section of my site for some Riad's that I stayed at (some pricey..some not so pricey) and a few other tips.
