microlight flight over Vic Falls

Am interested to find out other peoples views on this activity
I took the 15 minute flight in what essentially is a kite with small motor
The advantage over fixed wing aircraft was the almost unobstructed view
The flight was from a field close to Livingstone
One of my fondest memories of my 3 months in Africa

I once took a microlight for a two hour ride around Mahe, Seychelles. Included getting up to about 5000 fsl to get over the mountains in the center. We were able to spot and count dozens of whales in the ocean. Fantastic ride and experience.

Good memories to cherish

That sounds exciting but is it safe? I'm usually pretty fearless but a kite with a motor might scare me.

Safe ??? Well I guess in real terms no and not for everyone
Guess we all have to choose and I would never insist that
my choice was one that others take
All I can say for me unforgettable memory!!!

Agree with fossil41. Also, whenever I go up in one of those contraptions I do a very detailed inspection of everything.
