Mbalageti Serengeti?

Hi! I'm planning a serengeti trip for some family of mine....for sometime between May and July.....that's the time frame they asked me to plan for them.

Has anyone heard/stayed at Mbalageti tented camp in the western corridor? How does it compare to Kirawira? Also, if anyone has any advice about Mbuze Mawi.

Also who do you recommend? Roys? Sunnys?

Hi Hari,
Well it will be raining in the serengeti in May, best to plan in july and do maximum no. of nights northern serengeti(migration) and a few nights central serengeti.
All the camps in the western corridor(kirawira, mbalageti) would be a hit or miss, for the rain has been erratic in serengeti and if the western corridor does not recieve rainfall then the wildebeest will go directly from central to northern serengeti. Muzi mave is a good option. It is between central and northern serengeti.
As central serengeti has such fabulous amount of wildlife in any given season, I think staying there is a must.
Eben and sandi can guide u better to choose your operater.
